CHFC Hosts 2026 Capitol Hill Day
On March 2, the Clean Hydrogen Future Coalition (CHFC) hosted its annual Capitol Hill Day, meeting with 41 congressional offices across the House and Senate. The day provided CHFC members the opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers and senior staff on a bipartisan basis to advance hydrogen priorities.Discussions focused on maintaining federal funding for hydrogen programs particularly the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub Program while highlighting the more than $40 billion in projected private-sector investment tied to the initiative. CHFC also emphasized the importance of preserving a voluntary GHG reporting framework to support U.S. competitiveness in emerging global markets, as well as advancing commonsense permitting reforms to accelerate hydrogen infrastructure deployment.
