CHFC’s Outside Witness Testimony on FY 2027 Appropriations – Preserve Hydrogen Hub Funding
The Clean Hydrogen Future Coalition (CHFC) submitted Outside Witness Testimony to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development outlining the coalition’s FY2027 appropriations priorities. The testimony urges Congress to preserve funding for the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs Program and direct the Department of Energy to implement the program consistent with congressional intent. CHFC also highlights the importance of maintaining support for key hydrogen research, development, and demonstration initiatives, including the Clean Hydrogen Technology Recycling Program and the Clean Hydrogen Electrolysis Program, to strengthen U.S. energy security, competitiveness, innovation, and job creation.
