CHFC Joins Industry Letter Urging Resolution of GREET Model Delays
The Clean Hydrogen Future Coalition (CHFC) joined a coalition of industry organizations in urging DOE Secretary Chris Wright and IRS Commissioner Frank Bisignano to quickly resolve administrative delays affecting implementation of the GREET model, which is used to determine eligibility for the Section 45V Clean Hydrogen Production Tax Credit.
The letter warns that continued delays could create uncertainty for project developers and taxpayers and calls on DOE and IRS leadership to finalize the necessary agreements to ensure these credits can be implemented as intended.
